Trends to Try – SPRING

It’s the end of January, so naturally I am dreaming of warmer temps and chomping at the bit to try out Springs hottest trends!  Cristina here, and before I jet off to Fashion Week next month to scout the Fall/Winter trends I couldn’t resist sharing the trends that I want you to try this season.  There really is something for everyone and I hope you will give at least ONE of these looks a try in the coming months!

CROP TOPS:  I know what you’re thinking but remember when I challenged you to be BRAVE this yearYes.  You too can find the crop for you! Throw one on with cut-offs if you’re feeling adventurous or a high waisted skirt or trouser for more coverage.

FRINGE:  Fringe has can be found on everything from jacket sleeves to purses to shoes. Fringe is the perfect accessory for spring… and dancing!

LACE:  This spring, the lace trend covers everything from crochet to eyelet to 3D.

OXFORD SHIRTS:  It seems like every year, this menswear-inspired staple gets a face-lift. Last year it was decorated collars, the year before it was sheer fabrics. This spring, we go back to the basics with just plain, old, white. I’m pairing mine with boyfriend jeans and a floppy hat!

COLORFUL METALLICS:  Move over gold and silver, colorful metallics are moving in this spring. Not wanting to relive the 80’s? Don’t panic, metallics can also be found in accessories. Pha-whew!

WIDE LEG TROUSER:  With so many options, rest assured there is a pair out there for you.  If you are on the shorter side, find a great tailor and a pair of heels for the illusion of a longer silhouette.  These transition flawlessly from brunch to the pool!

WEARABLE ART:  Wear your art on your sleeve this spring! Designers alike took wearable art to the next level by using it in their designs. From serene landscapes to bold graphics, find the one that speaks to you.
