We have lived in our house for well over a year and our formal living room has been pretty much empty (please tell me you have rooms like that in your house). That’s about to change thanks to Claire Zinnecker, client/friend/design guru! She has been hard at work helping me put together a totally livable but more elgant living room. The full reveal will be featured in the coming months but in the mean time I am having a MAJOR brass/gold obsession. I seriously can’t get enough from splashes in unexpected places to full blown statement pieces. Below I’ve shared a few items that I’m currently coveting. This coffee table is my main inspiration and what started it all.

March 19, 2014 at 3:04 am (10 years ago)Oh, I can’t wait to see it. Brass and gold are very much in fashion in all Europe. Your coffee table inspiration is fantastic, and it has marble top. That is a bit hit across the ocean too.
I also have almost finished rooms in my house. I love to change make changes constantly, so they will never get finished. It is just way too much fun for me to furnish to be done with it.
