You may remember me including Snap Kitchen’s “Easy Greens” as part of my list of favorite things in the May issue Austin Monthly.  I still drink their juices all the time and it’s the fastest way for me to get my greens in.  I even did a 3-day juice cleanse when I got back from our recent vacation.  It was super easy, I was never hungry and I highly recommend it if you just need to reboot your system!  The last “juice” of the day is the Chai Cashew Protein Shake and oh…my…goodness.  It is the MOST delicious thing you have ever tasted and it’s hard to believe that it’s made with such healthy ingredients like raw cashews, all natural dates, cinnamon, ginger and cardamon!

I also learned that Snap now makes their own black coffee (!!!) and somehow I have rationalized that it’s “healthy.”  Okay I know that coffee and caffeine aren’t really healthy but if you want a little pick-me-up then this is a treat.  I have never been able to drink black coffee and so when I got one of these little coffees I also grabbed a Snap “milkshake” and combined the two over ice.  HELLO!  So good I just had to share with you all and it’s gotta be better than a bunch of cream and sugar from a coffee shop.  I’m calling it a “SNAPuccino” and this is how it works…

Fill your glass with tons of ice

Pour one half of the SNAP black coffee

Fill the remainder wtih the SNAP “milkshake”
